Appeal to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon

An appeal was handed to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon in view of his visit to Sri Lanka in September 2016. The appeal raised concerns of the Tamil community in relation to the Transitional Justice process.

Five civil society organizations working in the North and East of Sri Lanka namely Centre for Human Rights and Development, Centre for the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights, Home for Human Rights, Tamil Civil Society Forum and The Social Architects made this joint appeal raising serious concerns regarding the transitional justice process currently underway in the country.
